The truck was refinished in dark maroon during the refurbishment completed in 2016 and features a cowl hood, dual side mirrors, and a TruXedo Lo Pro soft tonneau cover. The filler for the relocated fuel tank is hidden behind the left-rear marker lamp, which has been modified to swing outward for access.The chassis has been modified with 2.5″ front drop spindles, 4″ rear lowering leaf springs, a quick-ratio steering box, and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with five-lug hubs. Circle Racing 17″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/55 front and 275/55 rear Michelin radial tires.The cab houses a split bench seat upholstered in black vinyl with houndstooth inserts as well as coordinated door panels and a black vinyl floor mat. A Custom Autosound stereo unit is installed along with a Vintage Air climate control system. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a Flaming River column and frames a set of Classic Instruments gauges consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and readouts for fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 15k miles, which represents the mileage added since the completion of the refurbishment in 2016.Additional equipment includes an MSD HEI distributor, an Edelbrock water pump, and an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Full-length Hedman Hedders feed into a dual exhaust system.
